In the United States (US), Komatsu America Corp., a subsidiary of Sweden-headed global forest machinery manufacturer Komatsu Forest, has announced that it has entered into a "definitive agreement" to acquire compatriot forest machinery producer TimberPro, Inc for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition is expected to close on April 1, 2019, subject to completion of the closing conditions.
