The Crawlers are the main antagonists of the 2005 horror film The Descent Part 1, as well as its sequel, The Descent Part 2. They are a race of cave-dwelling humanoids who have adapted to near-constant darkness and lost any previous traces of humanity that they may of once had, becoming monsters in the process. They are fiercely territorial and hostile to alien visitors. In the original film, they were all portrayed by Craig Conway, Leslie Simpson, Mark Cronfield, Stephen Lamb, Catherine Dyson
