The 2022 Color Blast 5k is on Saturday March 19, 2022. It includes the following events: 2022 Color Blast 5K and Student -Color Blast 5K.
Color Blast 5K -- join us as we celebrate 10 YEARS! The Color Blast 5K is a fun community run/walk color celebration to recognize the positive impact individuals with special needs have on our lives while promoting acceptance and inclusion!The Color Blast 5K is brought to you by four Owensboro nonprofits -- Puzzle Pieces, GRADSA, Dream Riders of KY, and Team Karlie. Our common mission is to support and enhance the quality of life of those with disabilities. Participation in this event directly benefits theses host organizations.Shout out to our Independence Bank, our loyal Title Sponsor!What is a the Color Blast? First and foremost -- FUN! Participants wear as much white as possible. Along the run/walk route, participants will be showered with a safe and non-toxic colored powder at each mile marker.
